SWIMMING POOL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

§1 GENERAL SECTION
- The swimming pool is situated within the Galaxy Hotel in Krakow, located at ul. Gęsia 22a, 31-535 Krakow.
- The term "Swimming Pool" in these regulations also encompasses areas designated for the use of the Swimming Pool, including changing rooms, restrooms, corridors, and the sauna.
- The swimming pool is monitored by continuous video surveillance, excluding restrooms and areas designated specifically for changing.
- Guests utilizing the Pool must read and adhere to the Regulations available at the reception of the Galaxy Hotel in Krakow and on the Galaxy Hotel's website. Accessing the Pool signifies acceptance of all terms outlined in the Regulations.
- The User is required to familiarize themselves with the regulations currently in effect in the Swimming Pool area, particularly those pertaining to fire safety and evacuation signage.
- The pool operates from Monday to Saturday, between 10:00 and 22:00.

- The operating hours of the Pool may be altered under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Management of the Galaxy Hotel in Krakow. Such changes may result in a temporary closure of the Pool or adjustments to its hours of operation. Access to the Pool may be temporarily restricted due to urgent repairs, maintenance, or other essential work.
- Independent use of the Pool services is permitted for individuals aged 18 and older. Children aged 7 and above may access the Pool only when accompanied by a parent, legal representative, or an adult providing actual care (hereinafter referred to as a legal or actual guardian).
- The pool is not designated for use by children aged 0-3. Galaxy Hotel in Krakow disclaims any responsibility for any adverse consequences that may result from children aged 0-3 utilizing the pool.
- The water in the pool complies with the Regulation of the Minister of Health dated 9 November 2015 (Journal of Laws, item 2016). The physicochemical parameters of the pool water satisfy the standards for swimming pools designated exclusively for adults and children over the age of three.
- Hotel Galaxy shall not be held responsible for any damage to property or individuals arising from non-compliance with the provisions of the Regulations.
- The User is responsible for any property damage or personal injury incurred as a result of improper use, damage, or destruction of premises or equipment within the Swimming Pool area, up to the total extent of the damage.
- The use of the Pool is at the user's own risk. Individuals choosing to enter the Pool area must be cognizant of their health status and should avoid utilizing the Pool in a manner that jeopardizes their life or well-being. The Pool may only be accessed if the user has no health contraindications to its use.
- Nudity is prohibited in the Swimming Pool area, as is any indecent behavior.
- Individuals are prohibited from using the sauna.
- The Galaxy Hotel in Krakow does not offer lifeguard services at any time in the swimming pool, to which users agree.
- Individuals who are unable to swim may utilize the Swimming Pool entirely at their own risk.
- All devices provided to customers of the Swimming Pool possess the necessary certifications and ensure their safe usage in accordance with regulations.
- Hotel Galaxy disclaims any responsibility for the loss, destruction, or theft of documents, money, or other valuables left in the swimming pool area.
- In the event of loss or damage to the reader within the locker, the user bears financial responsibility for its repair or replacement.
- In the event that the user contaminates the water in any manner, including but not limited to beverages, bodily fluids, or vomit, regardless of the cause, the user shall be liable for the expenses associated with cleaning the pool, replacing the water, cleaning or replacing filters, and treating the water as necessary to restore the pool's full functionality.
- Parents or guardians are responsible for any damage caused by minors.
- The swimming pool disclaims responsibility for accidents arising from non-compliance with these regulations, usage instructions, and operational guidelines.
- Ignorance of the regulations and instructions for use does not absolve individuals from liability for the improper use of the Pool and its equipment. The Pool disclaims any responsibility for negative consequences arising from such misuse.
§ 2 REGULATIONS FOR UTILIZING THE SWIMMING POOL AREA
- Prior to accessing the Swimming Pool area, users must change into clean beach footwear in the Swimming Pool lobby and leave their outer garments and footwear in that location.
- Devices that may be susceptible to damage, such as cell phones and watches, as well as items with sharp edges that could present a risk, such as jewelry, should be stored in the cloakroom.
- Before entering the Swimming Pool Hall, all individuals must take a shower with soap.
- The use of cosmetics in glass packaging is prohibited.
- Swimwear is mandatory in the swimming pool area.
- After utilizing the toilet, cleanse yourself once more in the shower.
- The User may be required to vacate the Swimming Pool without entitlement to a refund of any fees paid under the following circumstances:
a) noncompliance with these regulations, rules, or staff directives;
b) absence of suitable attire;
c) aggressive or menacing conduct directed at oneself or other users;
d) conduct that substantiates the presumption that the individual was under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
- All individuals present on the premises are required to promptly adhere to any announcements issued by the Galaxy Hotel staff.
- Within the swimming pool area, the following activities are prohibited:
a) jogging,
b) leaping into the water,
c) smoking tobacco, tobacco-related products, electronic cigarettes, and similar electronic devices,
d) consumption of alcoholic beverages, narcotics, or other intoxicating substances,
e) possessing hazardous tools, sharp implements, weapons, pyrotechnic devices, flammable and explosive substances, as well as glass items,
f) the consumption of food and beverages,
g) the introduction and presence of animals,
h) admission of individuals whose condition suggests the consumption of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
i) initiating false alarms,
j) leaving children unsupervised,
k) utilization of substantial floating apparatus, pontoons, mattresses, or other sizable inflatable aquatic toys.
- The Swimming Pool is not accessible to individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs, nor to those whose health conditions may pose a risk to themselves or others present at the Swimming Pool, including:
individuals afflicted by infectious diseases,
b) with externally apparent active dermatological conditions
c) condiments
d) individuals with upper respiratory tract conditions (nasal discharge, cough, etc.),
e) with dermatological conditions (mycosis, eczema, lichen, etc.) and non-healing wounds,
f) involving disorders of the excretory system,
g) experiencing respiratory distress,
h) experiencing balance disorders, epilepsy,
in the event of circulatory system failure,
j) hypersensitive to disinfectants
- Individuals in poor health, fitness, or well-being, including pregnant women, should exercise particular caution when using the Pool and its facilities, in accordance with their health status. The Pool disclaims any responsibility for health effects resulting from the use of the Pool by these individuals.
All cuts, injuries and observed hazards or irregularities must be reported to the hotel staff immediately.
