This exhibition invites you to pause for a moment and look at what is subtle, quiet, seemingly insignificant. The collected images are small in size—as if their presence were meant to be an intimate whisper rather than a loud manifesto.
Impressionistic landscapes prevail – shimmering lights, scattered colors, quick brushstrokes that capture the moment before it dissolves into transience. Alongside them are abstractions – fragments of moods, impressions of pure emotions that do not need recognizable shapes to speak of what is internal and elusive.
“Format – Intimately” is a story about closeness. About the fact that painting does not have to overwhelm with its size in order to move us. On the contrary – the limited format conceals the power of concentration, intimacy of gaze, and attentiveness that allows us to see more. Each of these paintings is like a small window – it opens up the world and at the same time encourages us to delve into our own memories and feelings.
A visual artist from Krakow. Her paintings are expressive abstractions and impressionistic landscapes. A free creative process and the expression of emotions are important in her work.
She graduated from the Institute of Art at the Pedagogical University with a degree in graphic arts under Prof. Andrzej Bębenek. She has presented her paintings at dozens of individual and collective exhibitions.
She is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP). Her art can be found in the homes of private collectors in Poland and around the world.
The artist creates in the language of expressive abstraction, but her art is not about violence—it is closer to a whisper than a scream. What emerges is fleeting, sometimes almost transparent.
The artist is interested in presence—that which remains in space after a glance, after an emotion, after touching the world. She leaves herself in her paintings—fragments, moods, states. She does not speak directly—rather, she invites us to a conversation without words.
The artist explores forms, colors, and textures. From intense, abstract paintings that surprise with their dynamism and depth of color, to subtle, almost ephemeral representations, the artist, with her unconventional approach to creativity, abandons planned actions in favor of a spontaneous creative process. Intuitive painting allows her to explore her subconscious and discover emotions, while overcoming fears and limitations. [...] Light, which is an important symbol for the artist, appears on almost every canvas in the form of golden flakes. Lesiecka's paintings are very aesthetic compositions, often inspired by the wildness of nature or the texture of old walls and masonry crumbling under the pressure of time. It is in such places, as the artist admits, that she feels emotions that are intriguing and at the same time difficult to define.
